‘Bitcoin-thematic’ ETF lists on Italian stock exchange Borsa Italiana

The Italian Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, this morning listed a “Bitcoin (BTC)-thematic” exchange-traded fund (ETF) by Melanion Capital, bringing Bitcoin exposure to Italian institutions and retirement plans. Euronext to Purchase Borsa Italiana from LSE for Over $5 Billion

Stephane Boujnah, CEO and chairman of the managing board of Euronext, has described the deal with LSE as a “significant achievement” in the firm’s strategic plan. London Stock Exchange (LSE), the largest and the primary stock exchange in the United Kingdom, has agreed to sell Borsa Italiana stock exchange to French rival Euronext in a deal worth 4.3 billion euros ($5 billion).
