Coinbase Launched CUSHY Today — And Nobody Is Talking About What This Really Means!!

On 30th April 2026, Coinbase Asset Management quietly launched CUSHY — the Coinbase Stablecoin Credit Strategy — and the mainstream media almost completely ignored it. In this video, we break down exactly what CUSHY is, why it matters, and what it signals for the future of institutional crypto and tokenized finance.

CUSHY is a tokenized credit fund built for qualified investors and institutions. It runs on Ethereum, Solana, and Base — powered by Superstate’s FundOS platform — with Northern Trust handling fund administration and Apollo backing the private credit strategy. It is the very first external fund to ever use Superstate’s FundOS infrastructure.

The fund targets three core areas: public credit tied to the digital economy, private and opportunistic lending, and structural alpha — unique yield sources that only exist because this fund operates onchain, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

This launch didn’t happen in a vacuum. Stablecoin transaction volume crossed thirty-three trillion dollars in 2025. Approximately eighty-nine million wallet addresses interact with stablecoins daily. And the broader RWA tokenization market has already surpassed twelve billion dollars on public blockchains as of March 2026 — up from just five billion dollars in 2022.

CUSHY is Coinbase’s move to build the institutional credit layer on top of the stablecoin economy. And with BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, JPMorgan, and Goldman Sachs all actively tokenizing assets — this is not a trend. This is a structural shift in global finance.

We cover everything in this video: what CUSHY is, how it makes money, who the partners are, what the risks are, and what this means for the future of crypto and traditional finance.
