EU backs Data Act with clause to shut off smart contracts

The European Parliament has voted to approve the Data Act — controversial legislation that includes a stipulation necessitating smart contracts have the ability to be terminated. Crypto data platform Glassnode sells Bitcoin tax software to Blockpit

Cryptocurrency intelligence firm Glassnode has said it’s dropping crypto tax-related projects to focus on new solutions targeting institutional investors and decentralized finance (DeFi).
