๐จ HUGE news for Ripple and XRP holders. On April 21, 2026, Rep. Sam Liccardo (D-CA) and Rep. Young Kim (R-CA) introduced the Payments Access and Consumer Efficiency (PACE) Act of 2026 โ a bipartisan bill that would let crypto companies register as “covered providers” with the OCC and get DIRECT access to the Federal Reserve’s payment rails: Fedwire, FedNow, and ACH. No more correspondent banks. No more middlemen. Ripple skips the line.
This is the bill Ripple has been positioning for. Ripple is already pursuing a Federal Reserve Master Account through its national trust bank application with the OCC, and its Ripple Treasury ClearConnect Gateway already lists FedNow integration. The PACE Act creates the express lane. Add in RLUSD’s clear path to federal payment infrastructure, and this changes the game.
Kraken Financial already became the first crypto firm with a Fed Master Account on March 4, 2026 โ proving the door is open. Fedwire moves $4 trillion in average daily transfers. Ripple wants in.
