At the Distributed Ledgers Research Center, UNIC researchers focus on core and applied research on blockchain protocols and networks. Its goal is to create a bridge between pure academic research and the challenges from the wider blockchain ecosystem, and develop applications of the technology. The Institute for the Future is a cross-disciplinary research center “founded to explore the hypothesis that exponential technologies will cause rapidly accelerating societal change over the coming decades.”
