How to mine Bitcoin from home:
In this video, I provide the latest update to my home mining experiment. I am now mining at about 5 PH/s per day, using rented hashrate, which is the equivalent of about 4,000 Bitaxes.
I also provide multiple resources that you can use to build your own blocks and mine them at home at an industrial scale.
Why mine Bitcoin at an industrial scale from home?
1) You have your life savings on the network and want to help protect it
2) You want non-KYC sats
3) You want a voice when it comes to soft forks
4) You want the ability to mine your own transactions, in case no one else will
5) You hate spam and want to siphon hashrate away from mining pools that are bad for Bitcoin and use that hashrate to mine spam-free blocks
Here’s the strategy:
1) Rent hashrate from Braiins
2) Point it at your own stratum endpoint (Bitcoin Knots plus Datum Gateway
3) Pool mine with Ocean, which lets you build your own block templates while sharing the rewards with the pool
Don’t solo mine with rented hashrate, since you will have to wait years to find a block.
