Japanese investment firm Metaplanet boosted its Bitcoin holdings to 5,000 BTC with a new 1.9 billion yen purchase. Tokyo-based Metaplanet Inc. has acquired an additional 145 Bitcoin (BTC), bringing its total holdings to 5,000 BTC as part of the firm’s ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Operations, according to a Thursday regulatory filing.
