Today we discuss El Salvador’s recent moves to adopt bitcoin as legal tender and implement a new citizenship by investment program where investors will be able to acquire the passport with just 3 BTC. I explain my thoughts on this move from a global perspective with other countries looking for safe havens against the continued decline in fiat currencies and how Bitcoin can provide a first mover advantage opportunity for those willing to take on some of the political and economic risk it may bring in the short term.
