I have ALWAYS wanted to see Australian heavy haul. Thanks to Centurion, Komatsu Australia, and BMA, my dream finally came true on our last visit!
First, we visited Komatsu Australia to learn about the build process for the country’s biggest mining machines.
And once completed, Centurion heavy haul teams take over to load each machine for hauling into the Bowen Basin.
Finally, thanks to BMA, we saw the team drop this massive WA1200 loader off for its final build at the Caval Ridge Mine, where it’s now helping to supply the world with steelmaking coal.
