A Russian anti-tank mine that has not been seen previously on the battlefield is reportedly being used by Putin’s troops in Ukraine. Russia’s high-tech PTKM-1R mine was reportedly discovered in Ukraine on April 26. The PTKM-1R can launch itself up to 100ft in the air when its target rolls within 100 metres before attacking. The top-attack mine has been compared to the US Army’s M-93 “Hornet” wide-area munition. Will Putin’s high-tech mines avenge lost Russian tanks?
