Shiba Inu Community Shocked as Founder Disappears From Social Media Without Notice

Monday was a surprising day for all Shiba Inu followers as the founder of the popular dog-themed memecoin, Ryoshi, deleted all his tweets and posts. Nobody knew what prompted this action as the Shiba Inu community was left wondering with different speculations. Ryoshi, the pseudonymous founder of Shiba Inu, removed all Shiba Inu-related blogs, including the original version of “All Hail the Shiba.” He also removed all four SHIB blogs from Medium as the page now displays an error message, “410, User deactivated or deleted their account.”

Ryoshi’s disappearance has not affected the SHIB community as the coin price moved up by 6%, according to data from CoinMarketCap. It is not yet known if this abrupt departure will later affect the price of this coin. Shiba Inu became very popular around August 2020 after its launch. From that time to May of last year, Ryoshi’s account was always active on all social media platforms, although the last time he posted on his Twitter account was in 2021.

The popular dog-themed memecoin’s adoption in the crypto world has been massive, with more than a hundred Shiba Inu clones such as Shiba Fantom, Shibalana, King Shiba, SHIBAVAX, SpookyShiba and others already in the crypto space with the number increasing with each passing day. The coin became widespread when notable figures such as Elon Musk and Vitalik Buterin made tweets about the coin, attracting investors.

With doubts about who the founder is, Buterin, long considered the creator of Shiba Inu, disputed such beliefs on Lex Fridman’s podcast on June 5, 2021. After the profile photo of the SHIB founder was replaced by a picture of Buddhist Jetsun Milarepa, a famous Tibetan poet and Yogi, no one knew who Ryoshi was. A recent chart from TradingView.com showed that Shiba Inu is the 16th most valuable cryptocurrency coin by market capitalization, with $6.50 billion.

The disappearance of Ryoshi has been linked to one of his past tweets where he revealed that he is replaceable and will eventually vanish. One of Shiba Inu’s staff members, Milkshake, quoted one of Ryoshi’s tweets, saying, “I am not important, and one day I will be gone without notice. Take the Shiba and journey upwards frens.”
