Corrections:
– One thing I did not directly mention in the video is that mining profits are heavily dependent on ping due to the way fuel works, so keep that in mind before investing into the skill
– Grind Gemstone powder pre mithril powder because of the powder buff hotm perk if this was not explained clearly in the video
– dillo is better than [all rarities of] scatha for purely spawning chests until you reach 600 mining spread, at which point they are the same (scatha and dillo) for spawning. Scatha pet is always worth having out to open chests for bonus powder. Before 600 mining spread use a rod swap rule.
– The Puzzler will then reward you with 1,000 ᠅ Mithril Powder. I did not realize that my powder buff perk was affecting the message. This also means that holding a mithril drill can boost powder gain as well.
– bonus mithril powder is from COTM 3, not 4
