Is it true that cryptocurrencies with the most developers on their team have a better chance of succeeding? There are tens of thousands of cryptocurrencies to choose from. People invest a lot of time and money into deciding which projects to support.
They’re curious as to which currencies will be Swiss Francs and which will be worthless like Venezuelan Bolivars.
So, how do you go about doing that?
One of the most crucial criteria that people consider is the number of developers. The argument goes that the more talented people working on a project, the greater its potential.
So, which cryptocurrencies are backed by the most developers?
Let’s take a look at what we’ve got. Number five is, of course, the original cryptocurrency, which is more valuable than all the others: Bitcoin.
Number four is Solana, a cryptocurrency that has been dubbed the “Ethereum killer” due to its capacity to process transactions more quickly and at a lesser cost than Ethereum.
And then there’s Cosmos, which comes in at number three. Cosmos is a blockchain that aims to build its own environment in which other blockchains can live.
Polka Dot is the second option. Polka Dot was formed when the Ethereum Co-Founder quit the project to start Polka Dot, which he describes as a more scalable blockchain solution than Ethereum.
And then there’s Ethereum. Ethereum, which was founded in 2015, is only second in terms of value to Bitcoin and first in terms of developers, with over 4000 monthly active developers working on the project.
