Miami Building Blockchain Ecosystem with FinTech School and Blockchain Center Partnership

Miami is gearing itself to be one of the primary blockchain destinations in the United States. According to the release shared with Blockchain.News, Blockchain Center, a premier education provider situated in Downtown Miami’s business & district, has collaborated with FinTech School, a San Francisco based company, to provide digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain education to investors, entrepreneurs, and developers.

The urge for decentralization

Blockchain technology has set a precedent for shaping the future of industries like global banking and finance. Presently, at least $100 billion have been invested in this sector since 2010. As a result, the demand for blockchain skills has risen, and various entities are stepping in to fill this void.

For instance, Tech Mahindra, an Indian multinational IT company, recently struck a deal with Idealabs, an education technology company, to enhance Indian students and aspiring tech professionals with considerable blockchain skillsets.

Through the strategic partnership, learners will be offered practical blockchain training in the FinTech, product development, and entrepreneurship areas. Blockchain Center seeks to be a vital hub for creating a world-class community of top entrepreneurs, policymakers, thought leaders, developers, and investors in the decentralized arena.

Virtual and in-person training

According to Scott Spiegel, the co-founder of Blockchain Center, “Blockchain Center shares in the vision of FinTech School and we’re poised to become an industry leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency training through both virtual and in-person experiences, once we navigate through this global pandemic.”

He added, “FinTech School has seen great success delivering high-quality programming in the areas of Machine Learning, AI, Solidity, Blockchain, and more and we’re excited to combine forces to create innovative and state-of-the-art training opportunities.”

The first offering is scheduled for 7th July entailing a 5-week Introduction to Blockchain Livestream Seminar. It will be taught by Gregory Leblanc, a University of California Berkeley Finance lecturer. The course is to offer learners an ideal transition into the blockchain sector.
