PlayStation 5: New Game Additions, Other Incentives

The launch of the PlayStation (PS) 5 will come with the introduction of new game collections as the company revealed. Besides the integration of the best games lineup in PlayStation history into the coming PS5, including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Demon’s Souls, the new game will also feature new game additions ranging from Final Fantasy XVI from Square Enix, to Hogwarts Legacy from Warner Bros. Games and A New God of War title from Santa Monica Studio amongst others.

In order to enhance the offerings from the purchased PS5 consoles, Sony is now introducing the PlayStation Plus Collection – a benefit for Plus subscribers.

The company noted that both PS5 models use the same custom processor with integrated CPU and GPU for high-fidelity graphics up to 4K, as well as the same ultra-high-speed SSD with integrated I/O that will deliver lightning-fast loading. Furthermore, the company affirmed that both PS5 models also offer a deepened sense of immersion through the DualSense wireless controller and 3D audio capabilities, so players will enjoy the same transformative gameplay experiences regardless of which PS5 they choose.

While the anticipation for the new PS5 is heightened, Sony has affirmed that it will introduce a new exclusive games collection for its PS4 in a bid to help users transition to its next-generation PS5.

The launch of the PS5 will face market competition from Microsoft’s (MSFT) earlier unveiled Xbox series billed to launch on November 10.
