- Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt recently came together to do a virtual table read of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.”
- The media and fans are once again calling their interactions “flirty.”
- When will people understand that they’ll never get back together?
Despite what you may want, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt will never get back together.
The pair recently came together to do a virtual table read of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” and the media and fans are once again speculating if they could get back together.
As both have explicitly said, they are just good friends, so why can’t anyone drop this ancient topic?
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s ‘Flirty’ Table Read
In the table read that featured other actors and actresses, Aniston played Phoebe Cates’ character Linda Barrett, and Pitt played Judge Reinhold’s character, Brad Hamilton. The pair were seen laughing and having a good time, especially during one of the racy scenes in the film.
Aniston and Pitt were just trying to have fun, but the media spun it that they were flirty in real life. Aniston, as Linda, said:
Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were. I think you’re so sexy. Will you come to me?
News outlets claimed that when Aniston said this, Pitt “blushed.” And then there were headlines that read:

As one might expect, Twitter exploded after those claims were made. Here are some of the tweets:
When Will It Get Old?
This isn’t the first time fans and the media have blown Aniston and Pitt’s little reunions out of proportion. They’ve wanted the pair to get back together since they broke up in 2005.
Back in 2017, it was reported that Brad was trying to get Aniston’s number so he could wish her a happy birthday and that they’d “been texting.” When Aniston split from Justin Theroux in 2018, Twitter exploded with fans calling for Aniston and Pitt to get back together.
Last year, Pitt was seen at Aniston’s 50th birthday party, and again rumors started. When asked if they were getting back together by a cameraman, Pitt said, “Oh my god, have a good one.”
Then there was that picture of them embracing at the 2020 SAG Awards, where Pitt was seen backstage watching Aniston’s acceptance speech. People really loved that one, but then again, they love every little interaction.
So, when will this get old? Both Aniston and Pitt have tried to tell us that they are just really good friends. According to a source, the ex-couple thinks it’s “hysterical that fans are so obsessed” with them getting back together.
“Riverdale” actress Lili Reinhart agrees that it’s getting out of control. After the table read and fans blowing up on Twitter, Reinhart tweeted her “unpopular opinion:”
Reinhart couldn’t have said it any better. Let them live in peace.
