Musk stated that his book will be a review of his “two decades of intense work”. He said he would go through old emails, notes, and texts.

CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk known for his very active and vibrant status on social media app Twitter have announced that he will be writing a book about his two companies. Musk also revealed that the book will capture the highs and lows of the journey so far as well as the moil involved in running an automaker and a space program simultaneously.

Musk has been a voice in the finance and crypto world for years now and has mostly resorted to social media, especially twitter to express his opinions on cryptocurrencies and issues surrounding them. Musk’s latest revelation also came via Twitter when he tweeted “Time to tell the story of Tesla & SpaceX.” The billionaire and business mogul followed the first tweet with another one “Of Earth and Mars,” before adding a third tweet “Lessons learned.”

Musk stated that his book will be a review of his “two decades of intense work,” on both Tesla and SpaceX, adding that he would go through old emails, notes, and texts or context.

Musk’s tweets sent the majority of his 46 million followers into a frenzy state with most speculating what he meant by those tweets as others also bombarded him with questions. Musk replied “Yes” to one of his followers asking if he was writing a book.

A part of Musk’s journey into becoming a billionaire remains a mystery but he has openly stated that the early days of Tesla and SpaceX are up there with others as the hardest of his life. In an interview with 60 minutes, Musk stated that, “it was an endeavor that nearly drove him to a nervous breakdown” explaining that he had to juggle finances and projects and finding balance to make both companies successful.

Elon Musk has had only one book written about his life story with his consent. In 2015, Ashlee Vance, an American author published a biography of Musk titled “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future” which tells the story of the billionaire’s childhood through to his Zip2 and PayPal days, as well as his early success and trials of the entrepreneur at Tesla and SpaceX. Vance reportedly wanted to capture everything on Musk with no interruptions or gaps in space, and Musk allowed it.

Musk announced on February 2 that he was going off Twitter for a while only to return two days later to tweet about his latest plans. A user also suggested he release a regular podcast, similar to that of the Clubhouse interview he conducted on January 31 with Vlad Tenev, Robinhood’s CEO. Musk replied to the tweet saying a podcast is “not that easy.”
