CCN reported yesterday about the developing Twitter drama surrounding @Hodlonaut, an anonymous Norwegian who used his Twitter account in a crusade against Craig Wright.
@Hodlonaut and numerous others in the Bitcoin community believe Craig Wright is a fraud and have been vocal about it. #CraigWrightIsAFraud is a hashtag that has been trending for some time. Wright’s lawyers recently delivered a letter to @Hodlonaut placing blame for the hashtag at the user’s feet and demanding that he apologize publicly or face more significant consequences.
Craig Wright Offers $5,000 Reward for Identity of @Hodlonaught
Previously, @Hodlonaught was most famous for starting the Bitcoin Lightning Network #LNTrustChain movement, where a virtual “torch” was passed around crypto Twitter, even reaching Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
Craig Wright quit Twitter after saying he would sue anyone who called him a fraud. However, his close associate Calvin Ayre, recently accused of pedophilia by Twitter users, has continued what the pair believe to be an anti-harassment campaign.

Craig Wright is not Satoshi.
Anymore of this sh!t, we delist! https://t.co/hrnt3fDACq

Chang Peng Zhao, best known as “CZ Binance” to social media followers, has already reached peak @Hodlonaut drama. In a tweet last night, the Binance CEO threatened to delist Bitcoin SV if these antics continue.
Zhao is one of the few billionaires to comment on the subject at all, besides Wright and Ayre themselves.
Calvin Ayre and Craig Wright Lawyer Up
For his part, Wright has reportedly put a $5,000 bounty for information leading to the full doxxing of @Hodlonaut. The CoinGeek article which discusses it is disturbing for its lack of journalistic integrity.
The screed speaks of a controversy surrounding Ayre and several young women who danced for him in Cuba last month. Ayre has threatened a competing publication with legal action for claiming that the women were prostitutes, which reportedly led to them being questioned by Cuban officials.

The article mentions @Hodlonaut’s tattoos and places he can likely be found. Wright seems to have become obsessed with uncovering the identity of this Twitter user, although dozens of prominent, known quantities have also charged him with being a “fraud.”
Zhao adds himself to that list in the above tweet, saying “Craig Wright is not Satoshi.”
Binance made up just under 9% of all trading activity for Bitcoin SV at press time. Several of the markets which outsize Binance are among the hundreds with reportedly unreliable volume metrics. The threat has severe implications if nothing else.
Wright Comments In Greater Detail
Wright has finally written a post alluding the recent events, saying:
Such is the realm of the anonymous coward. It is itself the one reason many of the same people think that anonymity matters. They believe that it gives them power in their otherwise useless lives. […] The hypocrisy of them seeking privacy while attacking other people and invading the privacy of their victims should not be lost on people.
Once drama exits Twitter and enters the courtroom, it becomes real. Once it goes from there to the heart of a cryptocurrency – its markets – it becomes surreal. Any version of Bitcoin needs liquidity and trading to survive, at least until such a time that “hyperbitcoinization” becomes a reality. Binance’s threat should not be taken lightly.
The number of people standing in solidarity with @hodlonaut steadily increases. People are changing their names to various forms of “naught” and adopting his profile picture, all of which is a throwback to the “Je Suis Charlie.” #WeAreAllHodlnaugt is also gaining traction on Twitter.
