GPU miners “are not really investing in new equipment at the moment, since prices have been high for a while,” and “most of them are likely waiting for when Ethereum moves to PoS, to buy up the second-hand GPUs” from those who will give up when the shift happens, Joe Dowie, chief marketing officer at hashpower broker Nicehash, told CoinDesk.
