As bitcoin continues to set new price highs, its network is also seeing record-breaking user activity. As of Tuesday, there were 432,451 “active entities” – wallet clusters controlled by a single participant that sent or received funds in a 24-hour period. Bitmain reportedly cuts off funding to Bitcoin Core developers

Bitmain, one of the world’s largest Bitcoin (BTC) miner producers, has reportedly halted its funding for some primary developers maintaining Bitcoin-related software. Jonas Schnelli, a major Bitcoin Core contributor and maintainer, claimed that Bitmain halted its support after funding his efforts for more than three years. Nearly 20% of PayPal Users Trade Bitcoin Using PayPal App

BlockFi and Visa Partner to Launch Bitcoin Rewards Credit Card Early 2021

The rewards credit card users will receive 1.5% back on all purchases made using the card to be launched in Q1 2021. BlockFi, a New York-based cryptocurrency lender, just added “payments” to its list of products and services. Security token platform Dusk Network has become a shareholder of a Dutch stock exchange for small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs). Announced Tuesday, Dusk Network’s share acquisition in Nederlandsche Participatie Exchange (NPEX) follows a partnership period where both companies developed pilot projects to further financial product innovation.
