UC Berkeley student group becomes 10th largest Uniswap delegate

Blockchain at Berkley, a student-run blockchain organization, has become the tenth-largest delegate for the Uniswap exchange, highlighting the diverse groups involved with the emerging DeFi platform. The student group has amassed 2.5 million votes, where it’s tied with three other organizations, according to Sybil, an Ethereum governance tool. Crypto Exchange Livecoin Begs Users to Stop Trading After Losing Control of Servers

Cryptocurrency exchange Livecoin has suffered what it called a “carefully planned attack.” The Russian exchange said in a web post it has “lost control of all of our servers, back end and nodes” and pleaded with clients to cease making deposits, trading or interacting with the exchange. “We were not able to stop our service in time,” the post said. A ‘simple mistake’ exposed 270K crypto wallet buyers

The hacker likely responsible for Ledger’s security breach in July recently dumped a large amount of data exposing the personal information of over 270,000 customers, including phone numbers and physical addresses. The leak also included 1 million emails of Ledger wallet owners and customers that were signed up to the company’s newsletter service.
