SoFi Obtains BitLicense to Offer Crypto Trading Services in New York

California-based financial firm SoFi has acquired a BitLicense from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), the regulator said in a statement on Dec. 3. Global Android Vulnerability Could Grab Wallet and Banking Data

The exploit works by highjacking a legitimate app as it’s launched on almost any Android phone. Instead of going to the welcome screen or login page, the exploit allows a piece of malware to display so-called permissions pop-ups, the kind that asks if the app can access your contacts, location, and stored data. Binance Cryptocurrency Exchange Adds Support for Tezos Staking

Binance — the second-largest crypto exchange by daily trade volume — has announced support for Tezos (XTZ) staking, according to an announcement published on Dec. 3. Starting on Dec. 4, Binance’s users will be able to trade with XTZ, with XTZ rewards to be calculated daily based on live snapshots and distributed monthly.
