Binance chief executive Changpeng Zhao is suing Bloomberg Businessweek in Hong Kong, accusing the outlet of defamation. On July 25, the Binance CEO, known by the crypto community as “CZ,” sued Bloomberg Businessweek’s Hong Kong publisher Modern Media Company Limited. Modern Media is an independent entity that licenses Bloomberg content. The filing contained defamation claims which stem from a translated Chinese article that alleged the exchange boss was running a crypto Ponzi scheme. Mike McGlone, a senior commodity analyst at Bloomberg, predicts a rise in the price of Bitcoin in the second half of 2022. This suggests that the price of BTC may be preparing for a positive comeback this year. Bloomberg’s senior commodity strategist Mike McGlone is tipping that the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will rebound in the second half (2H) of 2022. Financial and technical information platform Bloomberg has vastly expanded its coverage of crypto markets after a decision to include data on the top 50 crypto assets to the Bloomberg Terminal.
